SIMable unlocks mobile phones

by Jan Harris

Chelmsford-based Mobile Solutions Ltd has launched an innovative device which it claims can unlock mobile phones without invalidating the manufacturer’s warranty.

The new chip, called SIMable, is compatible with most handsets, even 3G ones, and enables the mobile phone to be used on any network.

SIMable comes with a customised manufactured cutting press, for fitting the chip into a phone, a process which takes a matter of minutes.

The chip is fitted to the phone’s SIM card, and fools the phone into thinking it has been unlocked.

Mobile Solutions Ltd claims that there is nothing illegal about the process, and as the process does not interfere with the handset, the full manufacturer’s guarantee should remain intact.

SIMable is available from www.SIMable.com for £16.99 plus delivery.
