Pioneer and Matsushita form alliance

Pioneer and Matsushita Electric Industrial Co, have formed an alliance which will cover strategic production, supply of PDP and modules and, most importantly, R&D.

The alliance will see the development of new, improved products, using more cost effective methods, which will conclude to a more eco friendly result.

A formal agreement is said to be arranged for sometime in May, while the product range itself will be launched in autumn 2009.
