Sky launches online TV guide

by David Allen

Sky have come up with the ideal online tool for anyone who has ever gone out and forgotten to record the latest edition of their favourite soap or sci fi series.

Initially this service would appear to just be a new online version of the Sky TV Guide which is available on the TV screen.

But this service is so much more that, in fact by enabling the remote record, a Sky+ subscriber can access the TV Guide and either record or change around the programmes that are already in the planner and set to record.

This is a really great facility which many Sky+ subscribers are bound to try out at least once and provided that it does work properly and without any hassle, then it could become the normal way of using the Sky+ TV Guide, as this can be done when the user has a few spare moments and not when everyone else is watching their favourite soap opera.
