Scotland gets poor service from BBC

by David Allen

BBC viewers from Scotland are said to be getting a service that can only described as second class, that’s according to a report that was conducted for the BBC trust and produced by a Professor from Essex University. Yet the results are probably not what the BBC were looking for.

It is not the actual news stories, but rather the way in which the news is being delivered to the public in Scotland.

They apparently get a story which is a national story and yet it would seem that the story is limited to Scotland and the Scottish people.

Because of these findings it is believed that this will be some major changes that affect the way that the BBC is run, or at least the way that they operate.

The BBC think of regional offices not as a place for UK and international news, but rather for news that is relevant to that region only.
