Atheros communications GPS Systems

Atheros communications will be introducing a hardware and software combination of Radio-on-Chip for GPS systems, which identifies mobile phones, Personal Navigation Devices and Personal Media Players.

The GPS receiver is single chip using an ORION V3.0 software suite. This will now allow technology such as mobile phones and Navigation systems, to incorporate advanced features, and products from Atheros communications will be launched, mid 2008.
