A UK mobile messaging services provider, TynTec, is to provide high-reliability messaging for mission critical health sector applications in Australia.

Australian SMS gateway PromptSMS has selected TynTec to provide high-reliability messaging for mission critical health sector applications.

PromptSMS’s clients will be able to use TynTec’s guaranteed delivery SMS for the emergency alerting of doctors.

TynTec’s SMS services will also be used for patient appointment reminders, saving time and money by reducing the incidence of missed appointments.

PromptSMS works with five 24-hour emergency doctor call centres which will use TynTec’s SMS to alert doctors to patient incidents.

TynTec offers a guaranteed near real-time delivery of SMS because of its unique infrastructure based on deep-level (SS7) telecoms connectivity and proprietary SMS-C, essential in mission-critical applications such as health care alerts where standard SMS would simply not be fast or reliable enough.
