HP LC3260N LCD TV

HP isn’t really known for their LCD Televisions. What they are known for, however, is their computer monitors. HP’s LC3260N is one of this set that has an average number of connections and features that would probably make its owners happy. But certain tests from other sites revealed that this 32-inch LCD TV performed poorly as compared to its contemporaries in the television market.

The LC3260N’s picture quality has been rated as fair and is great only when displaying standard definition content. In fact, its best performance can be attributed to its good handling of standard definition videos. However, when tried with high definition content, the television produced unnatural colors that is very evident specially to a trained eye.

The HP LC3260N has a simple all-black design. Its not really a sleek and stylish set but its lack of silver accents and trims lets users focus on the display – and the show displayed on the television. It has a boomerang shaped TV stand but it does not allow the TV to swivel or pivot. At the top of the set are the discreetly placed volume and channel controls. There, you can also see the video-input selections and power buttons.

The set’s speakers are inconspicuously integrated into the bottom of the TV. Sound quality is not that great but its better than nothing.

The remote control bears a clean, simple ergonomic design. The black, device broadens out at the top-third of the device, but the design seems more convenient for right-handed thumbs than left-handed ones.
