Carphone Warehouse to offer free laptops again
by David Allen

As from next week the Carphone Warehouse will be launching a huge new advertising campaign which will see them offering free laptops to anyone signing up for their broadband service.
It can be expected that there will be a huge marketing campaign using the press, TV and other media outlets, but the retailer is also spending out on the staff, as they are currently going though the company wireless boot camp.
The stores are being fitted out too. Throughout next month there will be a significant change in the stores’ make up, with wall bays and central display units being used by the newly trained staff to sell the broadband and laptop bundles.
All members of staff who complete the wireless training camp will also receive a free laptop worth around £350! With about 6,500 staff in total the Carphone Warehouse are looking at a bill of over £2 million.
