Sky beats off the competition

by David Allen

In a survey conducted by the price comparison people uSwitch, Sky TV have come out on top to win the best overall customer satisfaction category.

The uSwitch Digital TV Customer Satisfaction Awards are presented every year and represent a well rounded selection of the UK public.

There are no age, race or location requirements, which makes the awards very satisfying for the winners.

Sky TV who won had a customer satisfaction rating of 76%
Freeview came in second with 72%
Virgin Media came in a poor third with 68%

But the tables were turned on Sky when it came to value for money:

Freeview finished first with 75%
Virgin Media was second with 66%
Sky only managed a 57% score for value for money

In the final group, customer service, Freeview were in for shock:

Sky and Virgin Media actually tied on 59%
Freeview however had a very sorry looking 26% for customer service.
