The future is not bright for Orange UK

by David Allen

Having taken over as chief executive in January, Tom Alexander began a plan of major reorganising of Orange UK.

Now it would seem that the plan has been finalised and is ready to be put into action according to an email sent from him to all of the 12,500 Orange UK staff.

The email explains that the company has slipped slightly and that he would like to see them back where they should be, that is in the top four of UK providers.

To make this happen there is going to be some serious changes, and the first significant change will be the dropping of the Orange UK slogan “The future’s bright, the future’s Orange”, even though the company had actually been applauded for its innovative style of advertising.

Tomorrow the plans for Orange UK’s future will be revealed!
