Buyer for Tiscali announced this month
by David Allen

It has been a bumpy ride for all of those interested in the up and coming sale of the Italian based telecoms company Tiscali.
Finally the wait could be over as there could be light at the end of the tunnel, which is good news for all; because once this has been announced and completed then it should be the last we hear of it.
Although it would seem that we still need to wait until the end of this month before any possibility of a formal announcement, in the running to takeover the UK division of Tiscali are Vodafone, BSkyB, Fast Web and possibly the Carphone Warehouse.
This may seem to be a trivial matter, but there are nearly two million customers in the UK alone who have a vested interest in want happens to the phone, ISP and IPTV business as this could affect their subscriptions and services.
