New iPlayer coming out soon

The BBC’s iPlayer has only been with us barely six months and has proved to be a fantastic success, but it would appear that is not good enough for the BBC, as a new and improved version is due out in a matter of weeks.

This new and very much improved iPlayer will be different because of the incorporation of radio under the banner of “Listen Again” as well as the introduction of a service that will provide personalised recommendations of TV programmes and series, which will be in line with what the viewer has already watched.

The recommendations will probably be along the lines that some shopping sites use to promote their special offers.

It is believed that the channels on new iPlayer will be organised differently too, to make the personalisation of the device easier for the user.
