BTI systems has released a new range to its BTI 7000 Series platform, the packetVX Integrated Ethernet Service Module.
The new range distributes density and converges Ethernet service connectivity with WDM networking, which therefore provides increased delivery methods for IPTV, triple play Ethernet business and wholesale services, and 4G wireless backhaul.
With Ethernet traffic on the increase, the transition from circuit-based TDM networks to Ethernet-based WAN environments, becomes ever more important, to keep up with technology.
The aim for BTI systems, was to produce a range that supports growth for its customers.
As their bandwidth requirements grow, so does the intensity of what they offer; the packetVX modules aim to stay in line with this, and help its consumers grow with the market.
High performance is offered for administrators on applications such as video, business continuity, and VoIP connectivity, whether the scenario be copper or fiber Ethernet aggregation.
The products use Layer 2 switching and aggregation with WDM transport, which offers efficiency for the available bandwidth, and condenses the requirements for hardware support.
The solutions are available in the following formats:
packetVX 12/2 incorporating 12 GbE ports with two 10 GbE ports
packetVX 24/2 incorporating 24 GbE ports with two 10 GbE ports
packetVX 24/4 incorporating 24 GbE ports with four 10 GbE ports
