T Mobile’s web’n’walk offline

by David Allen

For users of the T Mobile web’n’walk service, a power failure hit the service knocking it offline for around twelve hours, not that many users may have known about it, as apparently it happened way past their bedtimes.

In fact the service was taken down at around half past five in the evening and stayed unavailable for approximately twelve hours.

For many users this would have the worst time for this to have happened, especially for users who surf during the evening.

Although as the company insisted that the disruption was kept to a minimum because of the timing of the event, perhaps those affected in the north of England really do go to bed early, or they just use this service for business in the daytime!
