O2 lets slip the price of the PAYG iPhone

by David Allen

Whether it was a slip up, or accidentally on purpose release of details, whatever the excuse the details of the PAYG iPhone are now out.

The details were only posted on the O2 website for a short time, before being removed as fast as they appeared.

The O2 deal on the iPhone for PAYG customers means that for the luxury of not having a contract, a customer will need to fork out around £300 for the 8 Gb version of the Apple iPhone 3G, whereas the 16 Gb version is going to cost only £60 more!

The initial offer is even better than that, because for the first six months customers will get six months free and unlimited access wi-fi hotspot access.
