After serving the BBC for over seventeen years, the BBC division that had the responsibility for managing the phone in and competition lines for the corporation is to be considered for closure.
The decision has really been forced upon the BBC as it was Audiocall who decided to withhold around £106,000 from good causes when the problems with certain BBC phone ins and competitions first came to light.
After the phone in problems an independent review found that £106,000 had been held back.
This this was money from calls made after the phone lines had officially closed.
This cash was also supposed to go to charity and has done so with interest after the review had taken place.
There are just four people employed by Audiocall; they will now have to wait at least a month to find out the final decision of their employer.
