Brits want internet on the go

by David Allen

In research conducted by mobile operator T Mobile, it has been found that around half of those asked would want to be able to get the internet while on the move.

This desired freedom is not restricted to just social networking or surfing the net, there is a desire to be able to work from whatever location the user happens to be in at the time.

This would mean that people, who use computers as the main part of their work, could in fact take holidays or short breaks but at the same time continue to work as normal.

There is also the idea that working outside in the open air could be a refreshing break from being tied to a desk in hot and sticky office all day long.

With mobile broadband this is quite possible but whether employers would like the idea of this is another matter.

However, there is a need to ensure that there are decent mobile broadband connections available otherwise some people may find their surfing or work taking a little longer than expected.
