Digital switchover on track

by David Allen

With so many different versions of the switchover story doing the rounds, the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee has released a report on the current state of the digital TV switchover.

Almost all analogue TVs are able to receive digital TV by merely being connected to a set top box, of which there is quite a choice and which can be purchased from as little as £20.

Obviously the more TVs that a household has the more expensive this is going to be.

This where many people are being let down; stores are doing a good job in providing information about the switchover and there are many households where the main TV has a digital connection be it satellite or a set top box, but for those houses where the second and third TVs are still analogue, this is going to cause the owners problems when the switchover reaches their region.
