The main reason for switching is cost
by David Allen

There could be many reasons for changing an ISP - service, cost or simply not liking the company that the customers are signed up with.
In the past it was always to do with either reliability or customer service, which a lot companies had very little of.
But in a recent survey it has been found that there is a more pressing reason, which is making broadband subscribers check around to see what the competition are offering.
It is all down to price now; this is currently the number one reason for switching internet service providers.
This change has only happened over the past few months, and surprisingly the aspect that would have been the top priority, reliability, has slipped down to third place, behind the customers’ need to bundle different services together such as phone, TV and broadband.
