BBC signs deal with Babelgum
by David Allen

BBC Worldwide have made an agreement with the internet TV platform Babelgum.
This interesting deal will see content from a wide range of different genres being provided as clip content.
The content will become available on the BBC Worldwide and will include factual, natural history and travel shows.
This will allow all manner of programming to be reproduced in the short form content on the Babelgum platform.
The type of content that we can expect to see is anything from Top Gear to the many programmes which show the natural world.
However, they are expecting to include entertainment programmes very soon.
Babelgum, although giving the BBC another platform to broaden its reach, is in fact supported by advertising.
But this partnership will allow the BBC to reach further to new audiences and into different markets around the world, under the new channels BBC LoveEarth, BBC Knowledge and BBC Entertainment.
