Warner Bros joins Top Up TV

by David Allen

The studio from Hollywood has signed a deal with the Freeview pay TV service, Top Up TV.

Warner Bros has brought to the small screen many of the shows which have become hits in the UK, like Supernatural, The West Wing, Nip/Tuck, ER, Friends, and Two and a Half Men.

Top Up TV will be celebrating two years of providing Freeview viewers with the opportunity to upgrade from the free channels to some of the more popular channels in October of this year.

For less than £10 per month viewers are able to view the likes of Paramount Comedy, the Hallmark Channel and MTV.

This deal is said to be only one of many planned, as content is key to success in today’s marketplace.

It is believed that Top Up TV will be rolling out more VoD content for sport, lifestyle and even films which will come as part of the Warner Bros deal.
