The £588,198 Vodafone Bill

Nearly everyone understands that data roaming can work out a little expensive these days, but as we know the EU are putting that one to rights after customers began to receive some seriously high phone bills.

But when James Abdale from Norwich received his bill from Vodafone, he could be forgiven for thinking that there was some sort of mistake, as the bill was for a staggering £588,198!

However it seems that the company and customer have not actually managed to sort this out yet, which means that apart from owing over half million pounds to Vodafone, it must be a record for a private individual to have run up such a massive amount.

Fortunately for Mr Abdale the company has now sorted this problem out and as a result have cleared the account, which is a bit of a bonus for the customer. But begs the question what do you have to do to run up a bill like that one?
