BT survey reveals internet fears
by David Allen

In a survey conducted by BT with has been named 21st Century Life, has thrown up some interesting figures when comparing the difference between the internet users in 1998 to the internet user of 2008!
The amount of people who spend more than five hours a week on the internet has increased by a significant amount - in fact back in 1998 only twenty-five per cent of internet users spent longer than five hours per week on the internet, but today the figure is closer to sixty per cent.
Yet when asked what technology people could not live without, the mobile phone came top, with the internet coming in third behind the fixed line phone!
While there is no doubt that the internet has improved dramatically in the ten years, speed and security are the main factors for the internet users of 2008!
