Having left the Digital TV Group to join the Freesat organisation, Richard Lindsey Davies is set to make a quick return to the position of Director General of the DTG.
He started off as head of the PR department of the DTG back 2004, but within two years appointed the Director General, then suddenly he was off to Freesat and now he is back where he started off from, some might say it is a bit of a U Turn.
The current Chairman of the DTG, Professor David Youlton, was the welcome Lindsey Davies back, who has gained a lot of industry experience at Pace, Sony, Toshiba and Freesat.
How this will affect the running of the organisation or where they see their direction will be going, will shortly become apparent, when the dust settles at the DTG.
