BT has 35% of broadband market

In figures recently announced BT confirms that they have signed up 103,000 new customers in the last quarter ending in June.

The increase in new customers takes their total broadband customer base to four and half million, which is around thirty-five per cent of the entire broadband market in the UK.

It is not just this in increase in broadband customers which is interesting, a great deal of these actually signed up to bundles. These work well for both the customer and the company itself.

The customers get a good deal by having multiple services at a discount, while for the company they have the security of knowing that their customers will not be tempted to switch, for while at least.

BT’s Total Broadband Anywhere package was only launched in May, but by the end of June, there were around thirty five thousand subscribers.
