Plusnet offers essential package
by David Allen

With the competition for new customers becoming more difficult, the telecoms and internet service providers are having to think up brand new ways of enticing new customers to sign up with them.
However, there are only a few ways of impressing new customers.
One is price, where the customer wants this to be as little as possible, and the other is package, where the customer wants as much as possible.
Plusnet are offering a combined up to 8 Mbps ADSL service with just 1 Gb of usage per month, although unmetered during the night, and phone service which includes line rental and free weekend calls.
Customers can buy an extra 1 Gb’s worth of usage allowance for £1.25.
1GB usage allowance would allow you to surf and send instant messages for 4 hours a day, send 15 emails with attachments a week, send 100 emails a week, download song and short video at a rate of 10 a week, listen to online radio, 2 hours a week.
It does not seem to be much, but when you consider the price is £16.99 a month then maybe it is not that bad after all.
