Easynet suffers cable cut

by David Allen

Easynet have finally managed to get their services back and running after suffering a major problem that would have affected their customers’ internet use or lack of it.

They are a managed services provider whose broadband partners include UK Online and Sky Broadband and their customers would have suffered serious connection problems, like not being able to reach a number of websites and the connection being very slow when they were able to get one.

The trouble started over the weekend and despite Easynet giving this their serious attention, it turned out that they had a cable cut, which resulted in the problems.

However, once identified they were able to re-route the traffic around the problem.

While some of their customers have noticed a difference already, there are still some who are experiencing problems.
