UK misses out on MTV HD launch

Music fans in the UK will be missing out on the launch of MTV HD when it goes live on the 15th September.

MTV Networks International announced their plans to launch this HD dedicated channel, which will have a content mix of music and kids programming, in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland and Sweden.

Nevertheless, UK fans of the MTV Network will not have to wait that long for the HD viewing experience, as there are plans to launch in the UK, France, Germany, Mexico, Brazil and Spain by the end of this year.

MTV HD will have a diverse mix of content, which will include live concerts, daily charts and an extreme sports series.
