T Mobile launches T5 Wi-Fi
by David Allen

The partnership between T Mobile and BAA has begun to bear fruit with the opening of the UK’s largest Wi-Fi network at Terminal Five, Heathrow Airport.
This will allow passengers to access the internet via any Wi-Fi enabled device, such as laptops, PDA’s and mobile phones.
For customers of T Mobile, access to the T5 Wi-Fi, as with all other T Mobile hotspots is free, while non T Mobile customers can pay £5 for an hour’s access, or alternatively £10 for twenty four hours access.
The Heathrow Wi-Fi hotspot is as large as fifty football pitches, which just shows how much area it covers.
This development confirms T Mobile as the largest public Wi-Fi provider in the world, with over a thousand hotspots in the UK and over twenty seven thousand hotspots around the world.
