Germans suspicious of Chrome

The German government is warning people about using Google browser Chrome.

The Federal Bureau for Information Technology Security has been telling people through the media that trusting a single company with so much private information could be a mistake, especially as the browser is in beta form.

The problem here for the Germans is that they could be combining email, search and browsing, because Google have made using the internet easy for people.

However, is there really an issue with personal data?

In Germany, there is a dislike for the huge US corporations such as Microsoft, Google and even Mozilla because they get funding from Google.

Nevertheless, as for Google Chrome goes, there are several similar, yet not as frightening reports about Google’s decision to store a small percentage of the data collected through Omnibox.

How this will proceed in the future is anyone’s guess.
