Nintendo announce Wi-Fi add on
by David Allen

Most users of the Nintendo Wii will already know that their games console has built in Wi-Fi, and it may initially seem strange as to why Nintendo would want to launch a Wi-Fi network adapter.
Well there is a slight difference with this piece of kit, as it going to be marketed to those users who sometimes have difficulty in getting on line through the unit’s own Wi-Fi.
The Nintendo Wi-Fi Network Adapter will enable the user to switch modes. This will all depend on how the console is being used.
The device does have other options too, like being able to connect to other routers or router. This will enable the device to contact other Wii’s or even DS’s that happen to be connected too.
Of course, there will be those people who may think that this is just a money-spinner for Nintendo; after all most broadband users would already have a router, which normally comes free of charge.
