Free PS3 with AOL

It is being marketing as “Free” but, following the numerous complaints over this type of advertising, customers of the Carphone Warehouse will not be sold the AOL broadband package with free PS3 anymore.

New customers will be able to sign up in store, on a twenty-four month contract with AOL’s up-to-8Mb broadband package and receive a new Sony Playstation 3 at no extra cost at all.

The package will cost the customer £19.99 per month, with a 40 Gb monthly download allowance, free wireless router and AOL Talk Pay As You Go subscription. This includes free weekend calls to UK landlines.

The PS3 comes with a Spiderman 3 Blu-Ray DVD and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue game.

This may seem an expensive way of obtaining a PS3, however this is not necessarily so as some people may not have the cash to buy a games console outright.
