USB adapters for the Apple iPhone have been causing dangerous electric shocks to users, as the metal prongs that plug into the electrical socket are prone to breaking off.
This is only affecting the 3G iPhone, which is on sale in the US, Canada, Japan and southern American countries.
Apple is asking people to swap over the faulty item that came with the phone when the customers originally bought the iPhone.
The fault is believed to have developed due to the thickness of the metal used.
This can cause the prongs to bend and break off, and on some occasions it would seem that these prongs have become stuck in the socket, hence the danger.
