Be Broadband are testing a new system that potentially offers connection speeds of up to 40 Mbps, something that is desirable by many users, but unfortunately not offered by many providers.
The offer is initially going out to existing customers of the “Be” but it is still not clear as to how this is going to work or even if it is going to be viable, hence the trail.
This offer is open to all subscribers and is likely to appeal to the huge amount of online gamers, who would love to be connected to high speed broadband.
The downside is that it is only for thirty days. The trial will involve combining two phone lines to an ADSL2+ router, which comes with no cost.
For their part in the trial, the users will get free broadband access during the trial and the phone lines will be free for a year.
