Another BT exchange hit
by David Allen

It was only two weeks ago when a BT exchange in Mayfair had £2 million worth of equipment stolen.
Now the same thing has happened at Stepney Green in east London, the area that services the Docklands.
This second robbery of internet equipment affected three ISPs, including Andrews and Arnold (AAISP) who were using the 21CN network.
The work that had to be done in order to get the area back on line, took almost ten hours to fix.
The criminals took around ten network cards, although there is no news about the damage caused.
In the meantime, police had been asked if there was any connection between this robbery and the one in Mayfair, but the police said that it is early days and there has been no time to compare the two cases.
