Freesat shows steady growth
by David Allen

It was only in May when the alternate service to Freeview was first launched, but since then Freesat has shown some significant growth selling over a hundred thousand units in just five months.
This is good going considering the current financial climate.
To make thing even better for the business, they are planning the launch of a personal video recorder (PVR).
This is going to be known as “Freesat+”.
The first units, which have been manufactured by Humax, will go on sale during November in time for the run up to Christmas.
Freesat also offer one of the best ways of receiving HD programming.
Many viewers who buy a new TV which is HD ready are disappointed to find that they also need to upgrade their subscriptions to receive HD programming.
