Orange offers 8 Mb broadband

by David Allen

Orange are offering a 8 Mb broadband package for the home user.

There will be various versions of the service, but they are likely to have some stiff competition from the likes of Virgin Media and even O2.

The Orange Home Starter package will be free to all new customers who sign up for a mobile phone service.

The broadband will be on an eighteen month contract, but it does come with a free wireless router and also the Orange home phone service.

This is not going to be an unlimited broadband as there will be a cap of ten gigabytes a month.

These deals are coming out now because Orange have recently completed an overhaul of their broadband network, which is said to offer greater connection speeds and a more reliable service.
