BBC plans six YouTube channels
by David Allen

The BBC is planning a further expansion of their YouTube collection of specialist channels.
Although these are not going to be totally new channels they are going to be BBC news channels that cover different languages, in this case the channels will be in Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, Persian and Urdu.
The addition of these channels is likely to make the BBC the first of the big time new producers to have multi language channels on YouTube, proving that they are forging ahead with their new technology campaign.
The addition of these channels will also mean that all the individual news stories will be fully searchable through Google, enabling people to search the story and find the video in a fast and easy manner.
