Livestation Want to Bring in More Interactive TV

Livestation is increasing its road towards live TV via the internet with a new plan to drive viewers towards the websites of its partners such as Al Jazeera English, BBC Arabic, BBC World News and BBC World Service radio, Bloomberg Television, C-SPAN.

The new intuitive will highlight the TV stations’ interactive features. Just recently Al Jazeera in English was joined by Livestation for live chatroom banter that run during the US presidential debates.

They will pursue other avenues to make TV via broadband more interactive and intend, for example, to integrate into their system social bookmarking trends and features.

The aim is to allow viewers to chat with others about what they are watching live on screen.

Viewers have added 1200 channels to the network which have been downloaded 750,000 times across the world.
