As the mobile and fixed line broadband market expands, it seems that the current financial pressures could be playing into certain internet service provider’s hands.
3 UK are just one company who are looking at picking up new customers at the expense of the other providers.
The Chief Executive of 3 UK, Kevin Russell has been noted as saying that they are expecting to increase their market share within the mobile broadband sector, as they believe that this is the growth industry which needs to have some issues sorted by the regulators.
In the meantime, 3 UK will be looking to add to their 600,000 mobile broadband customers by providing a value service, which is what is needed considering the market saturation from Vodafone, Orange, O2, T Mobile and now the new service from Virgin too.
These companies have to offer something extra and cost would seem to be appropriate in these times.
