AETN to launch HD on Sky

by David Allen

Sky must be feeling pretty proud of itself, having landed HD programming from the US based A&E Television Networks.

The UK and Ireland will become the first non US countries to get the AETN top shows, Crime and Investigation Network and Biography Channel, both in high definition.

This comes as Sky are beginning to push their HD platform in the UK.

They have already reduced the price of their HD set top box and now they are adding more content which will be of interest to viewers who may be considering the switch over to HD.

Both these new channels are to be managed by the History Channel UK and will be launching on Sky on the 5th November.
