Anyone wishing to donate to this year’s Poppy Appeal will be able to buy his or her poppy from the British Legion in the form of brilliant screensaver for a mobile phone or online.
The British Legion have teamed up with Tanla Mobile in order to get the Poppy Download service up and running.
This is great for people who want to support but do not want to have the paper one pinned to their clothing.
Now, for the price of a donation, the sender will receive by return the new Poppy screensaver, which is going to help the good causes that benefit from this campaign.
They are expecting to raise a massive £32 million this year.
It is simple to donate, simply text “POPPY” to 80848, this will cost the sender £1.50 and the poppy screensaver can be downloaded.
Alternatively, a visit to poppy.org will have details of how other payments could be made.
