Finjan has been receiving some very favourable reviews for its three new Vital Security packages, NG-5000, NG6000 and the NG8000.
The British publication, IT PRO, talking about the company’s NG-5000S Security Web Appliance for business, gave it the distinction of being that months “editor’s choice”, and stated that for ”Web content security you’ll be hard pushed to find defences that are tougher than those offered by Finjan’s Vital Security appliances”.
The NG6000S was examined by Network Computing who considered it to be “easy to deploy and capable of delivering extremely tough web security measures”
They also said that the NG6000S was a “superior alternative to traditional signature based inspection techniques.”
Over at SC Magazine they took a look at the NG-8000S which is intended for use by large enterprises, and considered it worthy of their 5-star rating.
They also said that the management interface had been “greatly improved” and pointed out that it has “unique behavioural blocking technology.”
