BBC dulls down HD logo

Ever since the introduction of digital on-screen graphics or DOGs, the little logo that sits somewhere on the TV screen to identify the channel that the viewer is watching, there has been a difference of opinion between those that don’t mind them and those viewers who do not like them at all.

One logo in particular has been causing problems for viewers and it is the one being used by the BBC on their HD channel.

As a result of the complaints the BBC have taken the decision to remove the logo from all drama and films that are shown on the channel, while for all other programmes the logo will be turned down to the lowest level that allows it to be still visible.

Viewers should have already noticed the difference as this action was due to take place over the weekend.
