by David Allen

The free satellite TV broadcaster Freesat have started their Christmas advertising campaign, which is going to appeal to those viewers who wish to receive HD programming but do not want to pay twice to see the same channels.

Freesat offer a service of a hundred and forty channels that have total UK coverage with no subscription charges at all and no service charges either.

Just a one off payment is required to ensure that the digital switchover does not leave the viewer looking at a blank screen.

It is HD that this advertising campaign is going to be focusing on and the fact that Freesat are the only satellite broadcaster to offer free access to the HD channels provided by the BBC and ITV.

It is an interesting time for Freesat to be launching such a high profile campaign as Sky recently announced that their subscribers are on target for ten million.
