Virgin Media customers get early Christmas present
by David Allen

In February 2007 the subscribers of Virgin Media lost Sky One, Sky News and Sky Sports News, in a row over how much BSkyB wanted to charge Virgin Media for the privilege of showing their channels.
Since that time there has been an up and down relationship between the two firms as they sat down to try and sort this problem out.
Initially it was believed that they had arrived at a deal but the channels would not be restored until early 2009, but it would appear that the two broadcasters have come to an early agreement.
As from the 13th November 2008, Sky One, Sky Two and Sky Sports News will be shown on Virgin Media, while the Virgin Media channels of Living, Living Two, Bravo, Bravo Two, Trouble, Challenge and Virgin One will be shown on Sky.
It is believed that the deal will go on until June 2011,
Virgin Media customers have got a lot of catching up to do on Sky.
