Download limit tool launched
by David Allen

It is sensible these days for everyone to try and save money wherever they can, and it seems that from the way internet services providers are operating, fair usage policies and download limits will become a bigger part of the way that people use the internet in the future.
This is good for the ISPs because they can limit those users who go over their monthly usage allowance or charge users who go over these limits; either way they win and the customer loses.
But there are some free tools available which will show the user exactly where they stand when it comes to broadband usage.
They will show the user exactly how much broadband they are using and how close they are to the ISP’s data limit.
The tool, from thinkbroadband, could help users stay within the limits placed on them by their ISPs, which is important especially when they are being charged for every Mb that they go over.
