Orange bring call centres home

Good news for customers of Orange who do not like making phone calls to foreign call centres where, although they may speak a good standard of English, when it comes to dealing with a specific complaint the language barrier seems to get blurred.

Orange have fifteen million customers who will now be able to speak to a UK based customer service representative, instead of the call centres in India which the company has been extensively using over the past few years.

The company already have UK based call centres in Plymouth, North Tyneside and Darlington where they employ some twelve thousand people, with the same amount of staff in India too.

Clearly it must seem impractical for the company to employ all of these staff and the contract pay services are being brought back to the UK first.
