Silver surfers afraid to download

Older users of the internet are being affected by the scare stories of downloading material from internet and are being put off from doing so and therefore missing out on some great internet experiences, according to research carried by an internet user magazine.

Whereas on the other hand younger internet users have no such worries and are completely happy to download material as and when they want.

There could be other reasons to why younger people download more, like available time etc.

Apparently younger people have more time and therefore are able to sit in front of their computer all day long, while older people are not very sure about new technology.

However there are always exceptions to the rule, and there is a rise in the amount of older people getting involved in computing and accessing the internet, so if this study is carried this time next year maybe it will be a different story.
