BT’s grip on the broadband market has gained strength ever since they entered to market, and now they are claiming to have over 4.6 million subscribers, confirming their places as one of the market leaders in broadband services.
There are more providers in the market than there were several years ago, yet BT appeared to get through and has once again managed to add a further 69,000 new customers to their subscriber base.
This rise in subscribers has increased the BT broadband revenues by a reasonable twelve per cent.
Yet this is a terrible time for BT, not only are profits decreasing the company have recently announced that they will be cutting some ten thousand jobs, mainly in the UK.
